Apparently, someone drove over the cap to the sewer pipe and destroyed it. The stack appears to combine cast iron, copper and connect to 1970s vintage PVC, which now confirms that plumbing was worked on at some point in the history of the house, based on how the stack pipe is wrapped with foam held in place with duct tape. The foam probably helps to silence the pipe. Copper water lines to the right of the stack feed bath 3 and the remodeled master bath upstairs. The bathtub from bath 2 awaiting removal.A view of the living room, family room, kitchen after one intense week of demo.
