The framer started demo this morning of the back wall of the garage, opening it up to begin building the new third bay. Photos by Ron Dahlke.
By the end of the day the framer had two walls standing. Ron reports “we are expecting rain this weekend and the framer told me he would be back on Monday.”
Jacquela took Steven to the movie.
Alfa. Gonna have to save for one of these …
Jacquela and Steven drove up the hill to the house in Ladera Heights where we married, in the back yard, where we brought Jadin home from the hospital.
The xeriscaping that mom and dad installed is filling in after 12 years away, but Jadin’s rock is still tucked into the corner between the driveway and sidewalk.
Disneyland was packed. 90 and 120 minute waits for almost everything. What a waste of the day. isitpacked.com said “forget about it.” Disney does not report attendance in real time, so we’re just talking out of our wizard’s hat. Steven overheard several cast members talking about how this was the busiest day at the park in a long time. If there’s a next time, if, we’re going to plan differently …
Instead of going to see Star Wars, Jacquela, Jadin and Steven visited LegoLand San Diego with cousin Brett and his kids, Benjamin, Lila and Josh. Here we are at the gate, above.
Jadin shot this from United 1705 using Steven’s new Nexus 6p. Austin at night.
